Other Activities

Kilohōkū Hale (Star Looking House) Observatory
This deck is home to our one of a kind floating Observatory.  The observatory also has a state of the art 300-seat Planetarium that features a new "seamless" dome, star projector, digital laser projectors, and upgraded sound system and lighting. One of the best features of the Observatory is access to the Observatory's many telescopes including a 12-inch Zeiss refracting telescope, three solar telescopes and a colestat. The mirrors of the colestat move continuously during the day to remain focused on the Sun as it appears to move across the sky. This enables visitors to observe the Sun safely. In addition, the Observatory has a number of telescopes along the starboard and port sides of the ship. These mounted telescopes help passengers to look at objects in the sky.

Nemo's Pahu i'a (Aquarium) & Shark Reef
Your entire family will enjoy the first ever aquarium and shark reef on board a cruise ship.  Who else but Disney could create such an educational and fun place to play.  Nemo's Pahu i'a Aquarium and Shark Reef is located on Deck on Deck 12 near Rainforest Canyon.

The Shark Reef is one of the most unusual water park attractions you will ever come across. As you enter the area, CMs behind the counter will hand you a face mask, snorkel and life vest. You pass around the reef and along a rock cliff wall. At the entry point, you sit on the ledge and are given instructions on how to use the mask and snorkel. Then its into the chilly salt water to ogle the tropical fish and yes, live sharks. (They're small and harmless). The Shark reef was brought in by developers of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon.
